Increased performance at reduced levels of fuel consumption is now a reality thanks to BMW's groundbreaking technology. The BMW 118i has an aluminium four-cylinder engine which provides 10 kW (14 hp) more than its predecessor, yet uses 1.4 l/100 km less fuel. The BMW 120i manages to offer 15 kW (20 hp) more than its predecessor while providing unrivalled fuel consumption levels at 6.6 l/100 km.
