The airbag system of the BMW 6 Series Coupé.

In addition to its various active safety systems, the BMW 6 Series Coupé features latest-generation airbag technology. Comprising driver and passenger airbags, plus head airbags and sidebags, it uses an optical bus to ensure perfect timing and degree of airbag inflation. Within milliseconds of an impact, it also activates the seat belt tensioners, switches off the fuel pump, opens the central locking and turns on the hazard warning lights.
