Individual climate comfort begins before you start your journey: in the BMW ActiveHybrid 7 the driver can activate the air conditioning remotely using the key so that the interior drops to a cool temperature in approximately three minutes on hot days without the need to start the engine. This is carried out almost silently by the electric climate compressor. As soon as the engine is started, the interior is filled with very cold air to further reduce the temperature. During the winter the park heating system can be activated with exactly the same ease.
