Speed Limit Display
in the BMW Gran Turismo.

A revolutionary new driver assistance system, the Speed Limit Display keeps the driver informed of the maximum permissible speed at all times. A camera fitted near the interior mirror permanently monitors the signs by the road as well as variable speed limit signs on overhead displays and only responds to signs indicating a 60 km/h speed limit in the wet if it actually is raining. The permitted speed is presented to the driver in the instrument cluster or on the optional Head-Up Display. The Speed Limit Display is a BMW ConnectedDrive technology.
