Night-time driving on twisting roads? An optional extra in the BMW M3 Convertible, Adaptive Headlights with cornering lights enhance safety considerably. Sensors monitor the rate of yaw, the steering angle and the vehicle’s speed to make sure the beams of the vehicle’s headlights stay where you need them to be – directly on the road ahead. In tight corners, at speeds up to 65 km/h and when the indicator is switched on, the cornering lights are automatically activated, whenever the automatic headlight activation function activated. The result: outstanding illumination and a more relaxed driving experience.
