The rear view camera in the BMW X1.

Keep track of your surroundings during difficult manoeuvres: The optional rear view camera clearly shows the area behind the vehicle as a deskewed, 120-degree wide-angle image on the Control Display. Interactive guidelines indicate, for example, if a parking space is large enough for the vehicle. If the BMW has a tow bar, the image area is enlarged, allowing you to dock without the help of another person. The rear view camera – a BMW ConnectedDrive technology – is automatically activated when reverse gear is engaged (in conjunction with a navigation system).
